Bring a real children's book author to your classroom.
Find an Author is a free directory that connects K-8 schools with published children's book authors for unforgettable visits, in person or virtual. An author visit sparks a love of reading that lasts long after the day ends.
Local or virtual
Search by your ZIP to find authors near you for in-person visits, or connect virtually with authors who offer virtual visits.
Vetted, published authors
Every author is published and reviewed by our team, so you can reach out with confidence.
Volunteer visits
A limited number of free visits each year, reserved for Title I and severely underfunded schools. They cover the author's honorarium only, not travel.
