About Rachel
I'm a children's book author-illustrator with a sweet tooth and a dash of sass. My books include How to Pee Your Pants: the Right Way, How to Escape a Playdate, and To Catch a Ghost. My 10+ years of educational experience have taught me that the best way to learn is by doing, so my presentations are all highly interactive. Students leave with confidence having written and illustrated a picture book with me during the visit.

Visit formats
What a visit includes
My author visit includes a 40-60 minute interactive presentation for K-5 where we read my book, then use it to write and illustrate our own picture book. Kids will have the opportunity to share ideas and draw. After the visit, I'll send you a published video read aloud of the book we made together.
