About Pelumi

Pelumi Nubi is an award-winning children’s author, global adventurer and the creator of Lumi, a courageous little purple car inspiring children to be brave, curious and proud of where they come from. Her debut picture book, Lumi Drives from London to Lagos, is inspired by her record-making solo road trip from London to Lagos across 17 countries. Through lively storytelling and real-world adventure, Pelumi helps children discover that they do not have to be big to do brave things. Pelumi is also a travel creator and Lagos State Tourism Ambassador. Her work has been featured by the BBC, CNN, Forbes and other international media.
