About Nadia
I’m Nadia Khan, a six-time award-winning children’s book author and the creator of the Zoey Wonders Why series. My books, Zoey Wonders Why and Zoey Wonders Why and the Great Catastrophe, explore culture, family, friendship, empathy, resilience, and the everyday experiences that shape who we become. I started writing when I was seven and returned to storytelling later in life, inspired by the kinds of stories and conversations I wish I had growing up. I especially love visiting schools because I get to connect with young readers beyond the pages of my books. I love hearing their questions, sharing the journey of creating a book, and having meaningful conversations about things that matter to them. For me, the best part of being an author is seeing a child connect with a story and think, “That sounds like me.”
