About Janet
I have been doing author visits since 2016 and love doing them. As a picture book and middle grade author, two of my favorite things are books and writing. I would love to work with your students and share my enthusiasm on these subjects, getting them excited about reading and writing as well.

What a visit includes
I do both large assemblies and classroom workshops. For the youngers, a presentation is typically around 30 minutes, and for olders, around 50 minutes, both of which includes time for questions. A full-day visit includes 4 presentations (can be large group or smaller classroom workshops) plus an author lunch, where I will visit with a small group of students as they eat lunch. A half-day visit includes 2 presentations.
