About Heather
Heather C. Morris is the USA Today bestselling author of multiple books for kids, including the picture books, Trunk Goes Thunk! Trunk Goes Thunk! was included in the 2025 Baker’s Dozen: Thirteen Best Books for Family Literacy as well as multiple state awards lists. She is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and has written seven titles for the educational market. Prior to writing full-time, Heather worked as a research scientist, where she studied and wrote about bacteria…from the ones that live in our guts to the ones that live on the International Space Station! Because she has always loved writing stories and science, she is passionate about showing kids and adults alike that it is possible to pursue interests that may not seem related.
