About Dow
Dow Phumiruk is a pediatrician who has found her passion in creating children's books, with twenty books out (some that she illustrated, some that she wrote - with more to come!). Most recently, she is working on her first middle grade novel: a Thai ghost story retelling. She is an author, illustrator, speaker, and medical educator. Many of her children's books feature diverse or female main characters. She enjoys talking about her Thai American heritage at school visits.
